​Assassin's Creed III is the fifth installment ​​​​​​​​in the Action-Adventure series Assassin's Creed. The game was announced on March 5, 2012, and was released on October 30 2012 in the U.S., and October 31 2012 in Europe and Australia.

​Assassin's Creed III follows the story of Connor Kenway, a half-British, half-Native American man, whos indian name is Ratonhnhake:ton. Connor finds himself in the midst of the Assassin-Templar War at a young age, and experiences first-hand, the beginning of the American Revolutionary War, as he continues his quest through colonial America to find and kill Templar leaders. The story spans from 1753 to 1783.
